I really need to expand my vocabulary a touch. Today was another hot day, which I am slowly becoming accustomed to. Went for a walk around the major tourist-y spots including the colosseum, palatine hill and the remains of the forum - wonderful. Earlier in the day we took the metro out to EUR, a bizarre attempt at town planning by Mussolini that is now, apart for a few impressive but ugly buildings such as the 'square colloseum' - a series of offiice blocks. Back for a shower - and possibly a wee nap - before venturing out for dinner and going to a nearby jazz bar. Buena notte!
