Juggling

After what seems like months of inactivity on the entertaining front, I am suddenly having to get into gear and give lunch to the Glasgow family tomorrow.

I’ve become so accustomed to sitting on my own with a tray on my knee for meals that I feel out of my comfort zone even organising a simple lunch for 5 of us - a soup and sandwich affair with some mince pies and cheese and biscuits.

Soup has been made, sandwiches procured and even a cake made . The dining room table has been cleared of wrapping paper, sellotape and scissors and set with plates, cutlery and napkins.

With all this activity on my part, juggling tasks, I definitely felt a connection with the girl in a local mural.
