Fluffy and Smokey, 0909 hr

Smokey has a mixed relationship with Fluffy, who lives a couple of doors up the road. Sometimes they have an uneasy truce and sometimes Fluffy tries to lay claim to Smokey's territory, even coming inside on occasion and helping herself to the bikkies in Smokey's cat bowl. Smokey also ventures into Fluffy's back garden and sunbathes in her special places.

I heard a bit of a caterwauling and apparent fur-flying and went out to see Fluffy with her ears battened down and making cat-calls, with Smokey a short distance away, standing upright but making a more plaintive miaow, both in a frozen stand-off. After quite a while, Smokey began to skulk towards me in extreme slow-motion while Fluffy didn't move, finally moving off in the other direction extremely slowly.

This is a very poor snap, but is the first time I've caught them both in the same frame.
