Birthday boy

Terrible picture but I’ve either been in no-photo environments such as private clubs.   We had a big day in town, brunch at Kettners, now part of Soho House with B with C and baby Ivy and Rory to celebrate’s B’s birthday.  Then rushed down Shaftesbury Avenue to the Apollo theatre to see a matinee of the very funny The Upstart Crow - Ben Elton’s sitcom turned into a substantial play with all the original cast led by David Mitchell and Gemma Whelan.  Our friends Miriam and Jonty booked us all in in August along with Catherine and Jon (Catherine an old school friend of mine).  It was huge fun and then we went to the Ivy Club for cocktails and an early dinner before reeling on to the train at around 9.30.   Festive day!
