It had to be done

After breakfast we sat down and culled a few names from our Christmas Card list, then Mr MacD did all the UK cards.  He designs the card, uploads his design to Moonpig and they print and send the cards.  Hopefully, they’ll arrive in plenty of time.  He’s also done the Australian cards the same way, plus one to our friends in Sweden.  We post a card from New Zealand to our friends in Germany, as they like to have a personally-signed one.  I’m impressed at our efficiency!

While MrMacD did the cards, I did a mail merge to labels from the spreadsheet I was working on yesterday.  It’s now ready for the labels to be printed in the office tomorrow.

I also set up a spreadsheet of the friends we need to catch up with on our trip next year.  We’re staying with some of them, so those dates are locked in.  It’s now a case of trying to pin down the others, although we might wait to do that closer to the time.

We also found time to pop over and have a drink with Mum after we returned from picking up the weekend’s open home signs.

The main is the first passion flower on the vine that MrMacD has planted in a pot.  It’s thriving, but might have to be moved before it takes over the balcony.  The extra is a bunch of lilies that are flowering in the garden.
