View from Lelant

Its been a cold greyish day and we decided to do a gentle walk from Lelant back to St Ives.  The bus took us quickly to our destination and we were soon on our way.  The views across to Hayle with Godrevy in the distance were lovely as always.  Many people were out walking their dogs and this part of the walk was fairly sheltered and relatively warmer.  We walked along the coast path looking out to sea and spotted a seal in the distance.  A Christmas Fair was taking place at Carbis Bay but we passed through and stopped for lunch a bit further along.

As we headed back into St Ives it was a bit more windy and colder so a stop for tea and cake at a cafe overlooking the sea was very welcome.  Good to be out with our friends in the day.  Now its time to enjoy the evening with them in the warm comfortable apartment.
