Christmas lights at Eden

The photo I really wanted to post just won’t load!

This was yesterday evening at the annual Christmas lights event at Eden. There was no entry without advance bookings, so numbers could be managed, but I felt it was just too crowded.

In the Mediterranean biome there were lit up plants but also a live band. It was performing standard Christmas MUZAK at an excruciating volume, so that it seemed to make the air crack! I didn’t see any need for it to be SO LOUD, and it spoilt the experience for me.
