Silver birch

We are both feeling a bit under par today with a cold  cough throat sort of thing. 
We went to choose a Christmas tree at the garden centre / cafe / farm shop. Their trees were a heck of a lot cheaper than Waitrose, well bigger for the same price and you could buy them not swathed in miles of plastic netting or in a big plastic pot.
We got talking to the supplier of the trees and told him we were looking for a silver birch tree for the garden . He grows his just up the road and we can go and look at them after Christmas! Good result!
These  are not his they just looked rather colourful growing at the farm shop.
