Tipping the scales

Friday's are my weigh-in day as I try and get myself into shape and I am definitely getting there with a 44lb weight loss since I started in January. The secret to my weight loss has been eating good foods that are low in calories and one of the best ways has been to eat far more fish.

As the weekly blip challenge theme this week is SCALE I could help but by a mackerel for dinner to give myself an entry. As I was experimenting with ways of taking the shot I really liked the effect of letting the light side of the fish merge into the plate by over0-exposing a little. It's fun playing with food!
