Kingfisher

It's not the first time I've blipped a kingfisher, but it is the first time I've deliberately hunted one down, so I'm really delighted to have captured this.  Okay, I'd hope for a cleaner background next time, but isn't he a beauty?

So that was this morning.  At lunchtime I took all my packed up calendars to the post office and this afternoon Hazel and I had a walk along the track and into the water meadows.  So quite an active day!
