Dipsy

A dipper dipping in the Forest of Dean - unringed.

Hunting the kingfisher and failing so little on the menu for tonight's tea which is disappointing ;) 

I sat in the cold on my little camp stool for a couple of hours just waiting but nothing showed so packed up and went to find some dippers. Although a lovely little water rail pottered on by in the Extra.

I have taken shots of him/her before as there are very few un-ringed dippers down here and they are very territorial. 

Tilly tomorrow is having yet another op - this time for a lump - it never ends!
