The Churchyards

Mrs S and I used to take a mini tour each Christmas to tend the graves of our parents. We would cut back the grass, give them a sweep and leave a sprig of holly. I wanted to continue the tradition and this year sis and bro in law came along with me.

It was uplifting to stand in the two beautiful churchyards - Bushey and Radlett (this one). Reflecting for a few moments on lives and all that has happened over the years. Valerie and I got married in this church.

We capped off the trip with a fish and chip lunch at a nice pub in Letchmore Heath. A satisfying day.
