Day 6 in the hospital

We slept well last night and it was lovely to wake up in our own bed, shower and have a leisurely breakfast.  I managed to get a load of washing done and posted yesterday’s blip.

We packed up our lunch, supper and some nibbles, plus the Christmas cards in case we feel like writing them.  Maybe we’ll just sign and post them.  It was pouring with rain, but fortunately we didn’t have long to wait for the first bus or for the connection to the hospital.  Brother and sister sat with us for a while before heading home for a well-earned sleep.  Mum has slept almost continuously since they left, only opening her eyes once or twice.  She is comfortable and the nurse says she is stable. 

We ate our supper, then I spent time catching up on the blippers I’m following, which was pleasing.  It’s always so nice to see what everyone’s up to.

MrMacD and I went down to the café to get coffee in our KeepCups around 3pm.  The sign on the counter seemed quite apt.
