Out on Bethecar Moor

The orienteering event today might have been cancelled but a lot of the control flags had been put out on Friday,  before the snow.  Mr P was one of the putter outers so had to help bring them in and I agreed to help. I wore my grippiest shoes with metal "dobs". You can see the snow that has settled on the lonely control box waiting for someone to visit it.

Then a very brisk 6km walk round Haverthwaite  to check a walk for Tuesday and get back to the car in the light. Very pretty views from the embankment along the River Leven ( extra); my reward for braving the snow.
