The meeting I’m attending is tackling some important but unexciting issues. However the distant views of the Uluguru Mountains outside of Morogoro are getting the brain juices flowing about the upcoming Christmas break, and whether I should return for some hiking.

On my third evening at the hotel in Morogoro I discovered that there is indeed a restaurant serving evening meals, despite being told the opposite when I first arrived. Not that anything on the menu was really available but I plonked down there as a welcome break from the hotel room and/or laptop.
