The Postbox

Just an ordinary object which I pass most days.  This was taken this morning at about 10am, the sunlight was coming from the righthand side which you can see from the shadow.  Two things strike me about this image.  Firstly the colour, red is a strong colour and attracts the eye.  The second feature is the texture you can see on the concrete post, especially if viewing at full resolution.  Side lights always serves to enhance texture in an image.
