Holkham by Candlelight

It was such a Christmas treat today when B and I went along to Holkham to see the rooms decorated for Christmas.  It was difficult to know what to choose for blip.  This room was decorated entirely in red, white & blue in tribute to Queen Elizabeth II.  

I seem to have quite a few extra photos left so I've added some more in extras, including the Great Hall, jelly moulds in the kitchen, a snowy village scene and a beautiful table arrangement.

There is a TV programme about Holkham at Christmas on Channel 4 on Thursday 22nd at 8pm if you would like to see more.

Of course, we completed the tour with a mince pie and coffee, and a browse around the shop.
