Platypus Territory...

Ruben and I did the 1hr 15mins drive North to Maleny Trail parkrun to celebrate their 2nd birthday... Ruben did the trials before this parkrun opened and then it's the only parkrun launch we've done so it's very special to us, so once a year we'll head up to join their small community to celebrate parkrun, they get lots of tourists who holiday on the Sunshine Coast and come West into the mountains for something different...
There is 3 Platypus viewing station along the boardwalk, so I always head to one of them to play spot the Platypus, because it's always cooler at Maleny and there's lots of overhead tree coverage above the flowing creeks and muddy banks which are perfect conditions for the Platypus, unfortunately I didn't see any but I did see ripples which meant they were about but not on the top of the water to actually see...
