Timber!

Saw this fallen tree near the river, north of Chagrin Blvd. on a muddy solo hike.  I liked how the snow highlighted the pattern of the bark.  On my way back a doe in the woods snorted and stomped her foot at me, even though I was just passing by.  I should have told her that deer culling will begin after the first of the year.

For the first time since 1850, a bobcat has been seen twice on film on Cleveland Metroparks' wildlife camera.  The remote location is under wraps so people don't try to find it.
