Lathyrus Odoratus

Apfelsine

After twelve days of sub-zero temperatures it turned mild overnight and positively warm by the end of the spaniel's wet and windy morning walk.  I moved my collection of Abutilons into the greenhouse when we arrived here a month ago and have had them wrapped in fleece for the last ten days as they tend to struggle if the temperature gets below about minus five. I removed their fleecy cocoon today. They all seem to have survived the cold and quite a few are still flowering. This is Abutilon 'Apfelsine', one of this year's new acquisitions.
