Festive Topper....

There's another one!!  Had to get out for a wander to the shops this morning to get a paper - we've had delivery issues for a few days! - and thought I'd check to see if a new festive postbox topper was there... and it was!

All the snow and ice is now gone, replaced by rain, mild temperatures and strong winds! Can the cold come back now?!  Did take a short wander by the creek which was nice and busy - curlew, egrets, avocets, oystercatchers, godwits, and even a redwing in a nearby tree - so that was nice and helped ease my hip pain a bit. Not sure if it's just old age - probably! - or walking on the snow/ice last week but my left hip is killing me! So painkillers and extra yoga stretches are my friends today!
