Alfama

This street is just round the corner from our hotel. It’s a great street for a tram pic but usually that involves waiting as it’s one way and you don’t want a car in the pic as well.

The day started bright then the heavens opened. We decided to get the bus to the National Tile Museum . It was fabulous and not as boring as it sounds. The building too was amazing , a former convent with a massive church in it.

Afternoon was lovely so we grabbed a tram up to Prazares and then walked down to a fabulous cafe called Melbourne for lunch/dinner.

Wasn’t feeling great in the evening, have developed a right cough so we stayed in.
