Snack Time

On the left, you can just make out a very juicy persimmon stuck in the bare branches of the wisteria on the carport. Some creature, probably a squirrel, carried it up there all the way from the backyard and then left it for later. Several birds have since discovered it and are enjoying the ripeness. Today's customer was this yellow throated warbler. It's a tiny thing.

I spent a good part of the day in the dentist's chair, attending to various repairs and procedures. Still have a bit to do, but their next available appointment isn't til March, so I get a break. It's always fun in this season to sing out "See you next year!" as you say goodbye.
