Green

I  managed to get out for a walk this morning….it was nice and bright and pleasantly mild.

I found this culvert with a wonderful array of green algae, lichen and moss growing on the stones above it. The face of the wall is pointing north, so not much in the way of sunlight will ever really get to it.

Our new dining chairs finally turned up this afternoon…only the third day of attempting to deliver. It took me about an hour to assemble them all…just the legs to be bolted on to the underside of the seats.

I also fixed a new bookcase (which I assembled the other day) to a wall….minor alterations required to bottom of the back to enable it to fit over the skirting board.
