“Sing choirs of angels……….

It’s the season of Christmas carols, and Carol services..We are going to a candle lit one on Christmas Eve at 4:00pm.
This morning I went to meet some close friends in Costas in Sutton Coldfield. One of them came with her two lovely young daughters aged 8 and 6.
We exchanged presents and cards had Christmassy coffees and some small cakes, caught up with news and generally had a good time.
The two girls were going with their mum to see “Father Christmas” this afternoon at Biddulph Grange National Trust where they’ve put on a Christmas Trail in their gardens, leading to Father Christmas in his Christmas Cottage.
These are timed ticket slots.
It sounds magical!
I’ve written a note this afternoon to someone we know whose husband passed away on Monday afternoon.
A lovely man who’d battled with a long illness.
Stephen has also written one and is going to put them both through their letterbox shortly..
This is a time for her family just now., who have come to be with her.
It’s very gloomy and misty outside right now in the late afternoon.
It was raining this morning, that mizzly stuff which seeps in everywhere.
We still have one or two more family gifts to wrap!
