Poinsettia

I have had this poinsettia for a few years, and although it is nothing like the exuberance of the original plant, it is still very rewarding when the leaves start to colour..
We had a quiet morning before setting off to stay the night with our family. There was plenty of traffic but we made the journey in good time. It was lovely to be at their home and to see it decorated for Christmas. Jake was there too and he brought his young cat Monty who was very excitable and all over the place. We had an excellent Chinese takeaway and a bottle of bubbly as a start to the Christmas celebrations.
