A day

for the birds. I've identified this, after a bit of searching, as a female bushtit Psaltiparus minimus. A pair of hawks were flying about and the heron flew by.

       I was hoping to blip the luminaria  (this link may or may not work for a limited time) but they were lit by a pale blue light that barely penetrated the paper bags and driving by I thought they weren't lit.
