Table for two

We had our Christmas lunch at the big table instead of in the kitchen. Because our big Christmas dinner was yesterday with the family, we hadn’t planned to go to too much trouble today. We bought a ready cooked chicken which just needed reheating, but we made sure we, had all the extras, pigs in blankets, bread sauce, stuffing, roast potatoes etc. I had the present of a bottle of Prosecco yesterday so we enjoyed that too.
We enjoyed a happy FaceTime with nephew Steve in Stranraer, such a pleasure.
