An Exciting Day

Well I was awake at 6a.m. - and lay in bed until the granddaughters woke at 8! Result. There followed a whirlwind of present unwrapping and many shrieks of excitement from the girls.

Suffice to say much fun was had.

I did manage to grab a shot of some of the Lego mini figures that the girls had arranged prior to Christmas Eve - in a sort of winter scene.

We had a very enjoyable lunch and the children have been playing with their toys all afternoon. The grown ups have another night of board games to look forward to - last night we played ‘Ticket To Ride’. Several drinks and lots of sweets / chocolates were consumed. Expect more of the same this evening.
