….. or Showy Mullein, growing on the farm hill above the Village. It’s an incredibly handsome and showy plant. There are several of them on the hill and they’re making an eye-catching display.

Happy Boxing Day everyone!
It’s the day that got named Boxing because people tidied up after Christmas and put things away in boxes.
I didn’t get into the Boxing thing, but did make a start on cleaning the inside of my car, from dog hair & dirt, with my new Dyson stick cleaner. The power ran out before I finished, so it had to be recharged. The day had got too hot by then anyway.

I finished it all later before going down to the lake and joining the family for a picnic dinner. What a super end to the day! - a very hot day!
