Boxing Day walk

Not the usual '2nd Sat Strollers' gathering; but a more local group of hardy-walkers did decide to venture out for a Boxing Day walk, all to help us work off some of the various Christmas Day dinners from yesterday!

I've run out of extras - until 1st January! - so here's a collage of the day:

- top left, the view as we walked around Arthur's Seat;
- top right, the 'Born Free' lions on The Meadows, as we walked into town;
- bottom left, the entry-sign as we went onto the Water of Leith Walkway for our return-leg towards Shandon;
- bottom right, some of the group walking along the Water of Leith as we approached home ...

... not long after that last photo, some heavy sleet-showers ensued, and we tragically had to seek refuge in 'The Diggers' at the very end of the walk ;-)

A quiet evening now beckons!
