Vibrant

Every time I look at a tightly formed bud on my dahlia I marvel that a marvel of creation will emerge when it is ready. Thus is the case with this vibrant pink beauty. A feast for the eyes.
Poor Maisie had an unplanned trip to Vet Marlborough this morning. She managed to get a nasty barley grass deep into her left ear when out for our early walk…Alas she needed to be sedated to enable the grass to be removed. That entailed a few hours at the Vets. … She was still a bit groggy when I got her home but was back to her normal lively self by this evening and her bedtime.
