In Glasgow, it's fairly easy to predict when a non-residential listed building will go on fire. The ingredients are: leave it derelict for a few years, ensure there is a major regeneration project in the pipeline for the surrounding land, give a massive estimate for refurbishment, then wait for a Bank Holiday weekend. Such as happened here

To be honest though, I was expecting the Beco Building in Tradeston was next for this particular sca- er, accident to happen. But no, the fairly nice tower of the old Coliseum looks doomed...
