Living my dream

Flattened

It has reached 33C today and the poor dahlias - amongst other things, some human - were flattened but the heat. As soon as it cooled off slightly they began to revive. So did I.

I cut grass this morning before the mercury rose above 30. Wellington friends who are staying in the Maniototo for the week came over for lunch, so we sat in a breeze and ate cold food and drinks.
