A Christmas Gift

I admired this painting at the Art Festival this year while walking around on preview night. My friend, Wendy, was with me, took mental note and surprised me with it for Christmas. I’m blessed with lovely friends.

Thank you all for the lovely comments and support over the last few days. It really helps hugely.
The pain is not bad at all now and I’m devising ways of making life easier. I’ve even modified an old dog harness to help me swing my heavy, splinted leg onto the bed or sofa, so it doesn’t put so much strain on my hip.
