Midwinter at Staunton Harold

A day notable for actually walking outside from the garden centre to the reservoir at Staunton Harold. I used two sticks to prompt me to keep my balance. Progress was slow, but I did it.

I also took out my little Fuji x-t20 to take a photo of the lake, NOT depending on my phone. Lots of coots on the lake which I gather is an old fish pond, and a group of swans with this year's growing cygnets.

We went to the Peach House Restaurant at the end warming up with latte. Len had a giant Cornish pastie. I was very restricted in what I could eat so opted for the chocolate fudge cake which was GF but swimming in calories. Good thing Len was there to help me eat it.
