Rydyn ni'n cyhoeddi llawer o lyfrau a rhaid i ni eu darllen i gyd mor ofalus â phosibl cyn cyhoeddi. Rydyn ni'n mynd trwy sawl cyfnod o brawfddarllen - yn araf, pennod wrth bennod, ac wedyn  trwy'r llyfr mor gyflym â phosibl. Yn y ffordd hon rydyn ni'n gobeithio dal problemau gyda ffeithiau a sillafu, a hefyd cysondeb arddull a'r datblygu graddol o ystyr y llyfr.

Heddiw roedd hi'n bwrw glaw trwy'r dydd. Roedd ddiwrnod da iawn i ddarllen y llyfr bore cyflym a phosibl. Darllenon ni hanner llyfr newydd Nor'dzin. Dim yn ddrwg, yn enwedig fel roedd Nor'dzin yn sâl hefyd. Sesiwn arall (pan mae hi'n teimlo'n well) a byddwn ni'n cwblhau'r gwaith.

We publish many books and we must read them all as carefully as possible before publishing. We go through several stages of proofreading - slowly, chapter by chapter, and then through the book as quickly as possible. In this way we hope to catch problems with facts and spelling, and also consistency of style and the gradual development of the meaning of the book.

Today it rained all day. It was a very good day to read the book as fast as possible. We read half of Nor'dzin's new book. Not bad, especially as Nor'dzin was ill too. Another session (when she feels better) and we will complete the work.
