Goodbye 2022

Not quite the New Year’s Eve we had planned, hubby has been suffering with a bad back for a couple of days and today it got the better of him. He couldn’t get comfortable sitting; perched on the edge of a chair and standing up was the most comfortable.
We had to cancel our planned darts challenge at friends, but as it turns out our friends mum had had a mini stroke on Friday night and she didn’t feel like partying much either.
So we haven’t managed to do much at all today. A couple of cocktails have been drunk this evening and we’ve tried to make the best of it. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day for hubby.
