...... but what a thrill to see so many Lapwing!

Yes they really are all Lapwing .... Hubby could see them through his binoculars!

Really encouraging to see so many as they have been in decline for years .... hopefully this means they are making a comeback!

I was hoping they would land in the field but instead they flew off!

As you can probably tell from these images we had a murky & grey afternoon walk but at least it wasn't raining! :-)
