Our Journey is a process

Digging out

The last day of 2022 brought a typical Sierra dump to our region.  We only got about a foot of snow, but other areas received as much as two feet and the mountains were hammered.   Every few hours last night, my husband was out keeping the walkway clear of snow and ice so that we would not slip when we took the dogs out.  He is such a prince!

We live on a private street, so that our homeowner's association has to hire a private snow plow to plow the street.  They don't do a very good job and always seem to pile more snow in front of driveways than removing it.

In spite of all that, it is a lovely day with bright sun.  The snow will be gone in a couple of days with these temperatures.
