Spinning Start!

Starting the year in typical fashion by making the most of the quiet New Year's Day roads by getting out on a solo spin. As I set off the rain was starting and then for the following twenty minutes it really did absolutely throw it down. Drip, drip, drip, power showers have nothing on mother nature!!

However, the blue skies did win in the end and a little bit of brightness could be seen. The struggle was real getting out of the warm shower after cleaning my bike down. :-P

I've done some more of my jigsaw this afternoon. It's getting very, very tricky because only the green leaves of the trees are left!

Tonight I'm thoroughly looking forward to Happy Valley. :-D
