Two for one.....

Sunshine to start off the week! Still slighty unsure what day it is though!  And the roads were nice and empty this morning as we headed to Canvey for a spot of food shopping!  Calm returns to the supermarkets!!

And a stop off at the nature reserve on the way back - a few dog walkers were out and about and the birds were hiding! Did spot a woodpecker and some long tailed tits but quiet otherwise!  A lot of the wading birds were further out in the estuary but nice to see 2 curlews stalking the mud!

And while the sun has been out, it lured me out into the garden and I got on with a few pruning tasks which were nice to do.  The recent cold spell has hit quite a few plants so need to keep an eye on those, and wish I hadn't checked in the mini greenhouses as my pelargoniums/geraniums were in a very sorry state so they had to be binned!
