Winter trees

Last night we ended up watching another movie on Netflix, this time it was Tick Tick Boom - a different type of movie with musical theatre at it's core, and although I don't really like musical theatre I did enjoy the movie.

This morning Luke and Tommy left to go back to the UK. It was a mad rush to get them to the station as Tommy was not quite ready, we got there with 30 seconds to spare and then unusually, the train was delayed by 3 minutes which worked in their favour. Luke had no problem with his passport for the return flight, and he will apply for a new one as soon as he can.

It was very warm again today, Gavin and I did a good walk with Xena, up the side of a mountain behind the apartment and down into the village, it took just over 2 hours and we had to dodge the icy bits. We had to take our jackets off and no hat or gloves were required. I liked this view on the mountain side of the bare winter trees.

It's been a quiet without the boys and I am already missing them :(

Tonight we are going to friends for dinner. They live in London but spend much time here too, and we always catch up when we are out here.

We have to ensure we stay healthy and accident free - the NHS is facing the worst winter for A&E waits in history. The RCEM president said that between 300 and 500 people are dying per week as a result of delays to emergency care. Apparently there are waits of up to four days. Not good, is it?
