A sign that Spring is on its way

The first day I have been able to walk out in the sunshine with my crutches!    The Christmas holiday followed by a sick bug prevented me from going before and I suddenly realised I will be seeing the surgeon in a couple of week's time who advised me to take a couple of walks every day - panic!
My walking has improved a lot but I need to get out into the countryside and the fresh air.
