Daffodils in bud?!

It is the time of year when one is longing for signs of Spring.  Up by the signpost at the end  of our lane I found these early daffs in bud and there are more piercing through the soil in the garden.  Often we have a few primroses out at this time of year but there are none for the time being.  Light and warmth affect plants differently and there hasn't been much bright sun about lately over the last few weeks.  I did hear a bumble bee fly past when I was out walking.
