New growth

I didn't manage a walk today, I was too busy and too tired after a second horribly late night trying to make progress with the very slow stop motion shoot. It's a pity, as it was the brightest day for a while, but I took J out onto the deck, where the cats came to climb on her lap and snuggle, and had a little wander round the garden to see what is growing. Catkins are everywhere in our garden and the local hedgerows; they have been growing for some time, and are already well beyond the tiny, baby stage; I've chosen them for today's "old and/or new" Mono Monday theme.
