Evil eye

Ravens and sulphur crested cockatoos don't get on.  The cockatoos are rather larger, but the ravens are more aggressive.  Or maybe not.  Anyway, these two were having a very noisy face-off at the feeder this morning.  We don't very often put seed out because it attracts the feral pigeons (or flying rats as one eminent birdologist ornithologist describes them).

Don't the cockies look spectacular when they are displaying their combs! All intended to put the fear of the Bird God into the raven.  The noise was off the charts.

The ravens won out by the way.
