Today's weather is truly appalling! 

Clive started his day with a trip to the gym. Not a NY resolution because he goes 4 times a week. 

I watched the rain clouds.  Hetty had no intention of going out so all was well. A window of opportunity arose midday so she got an hour's walk followed by a bath. 

I made these mince pies. I added raisins, that had been soaked in Bailey's, to the mincemeat and they were scrumptious. All gone now.

I long for days outside. It doesn't have to be particularly warm. Just dry with a blue sky.
