Bromeliad

I have several of these plants in my garden but this is the first one to flower.
It's been a busy day choosing tiles and fittings for our shower renovation. Hopefully it will be done soon...I have cleared the room and am ready for a dusty time ahead!
Good rain has been forecast for tomorrow - but so often nothing happens. Let's hope we wake up to rain.
