On tour!

Bit of an early awakening this morning from an accident prone Little Dog. After the clean-up operation, we had a few more zeds and sat on the decking eating hot porridge to a serene scene of cool air and calm seas. In fact, we spent much of the morning waking up and just looking out to sea. 

In the afternoon, we took a drive around a local loop which would be amazing to cycle one day. En route, we saw a huge flock of eider ducks, a couple of statuesque seals on rocks and a distant hen harrier. 

The views were spectacular with a peculiar light phenomenon happening on the horizon, making it look like islands were floating and the mainland had giant overhangs.

We paused for a stroll on the beach in a stunning tranquil bay and arrived home to watch out to sea some more. Seriously relaxing!
